Dr. Muhangwi Ben Mulaudzi, MBChB
Dr. Muhangwi Ben Mulaudzi is a highly respected South African HIV clinician and health leader with over 30 years of experience in infectious diseases and HIV/AIDS management.

He qualified as a medical doctor (MBChB) from the Medical University of Southern Africa (MEDUNSA) in 1990.
Since 1991, he has been actively involved in HIV/AIDS care, becoming one of the pioneering clinicians to treat HIV patients in the Rustenburg mining region during the early years of the epidemic.
He has made significant contributions to South African HIV clinical guidelines, notably in palliative care for HIV patients and vaccination strategies for HIV-infected individuals.
A founding member of the Southern African HIV Clinicians Society, he continues to play an influential role in shaping HIV policy and clinical practice in the region.
He serves as Managing Director of the South African Viral Care Society (SAVCS).
Dr. Mulaudzi is a regular speaker and educator on HIV treatment, viral hepatitis, co-infections, and public health strategies.
He remains deeply committed to improving HIV care, training healthcare professionals, and strengthening health systems across Africa.
